I can look up tide charts easily enough, but I'm wondering whether anyone
knows a good way to predict whether or not we're in for heavy seas. The
last two times I went to Ocean Shores, the waves were breaking over the
jetty, so of course we saw almost nothing. It would help to go at low tide,
of course, but it might also help to show up when the seas are relatively
calm. It's a long drive from up here in greater Seattle only to get washed
out...

Suggestions? I'm on digest, so please reply directly, whether or not you
