Subject: [Tweeters] UW Dawn Chorus and Birding

Hi Tweeters,

Monday I drove in and walked in from the Stadium
parking lot. It was so nice to have a dawn chorus
consisting of Song Sparrows, Bewick's Wrens, and
Robins. They were all singing their little hearts
out. A few crow caws mixed in.

No Redhead this week. Downy Woodpecker new bird for
year here. Double-crested Cormorants seem to be
pairing up. One was vocalizing prior to a dive but I
didn't see another cormorant nearby.

I've been spelling Aqua Verde wrong all along...(and I
used to be such a good speller, I don't know what
happened). It should be Agua Verde, which actually
makes more sense.

>From Sakuma Viewpoint Park (near Agua Verde
restaurant) to Montlake Bridge. Feb 7 to 11th.
