Hello All,
Today MerryLynn and I went scouting to get some idea of where the owls were. We saw the following species all in Walla Walla Co..........
N. Shrike........1 sub adult along Sudbury Rd.
Says Phoebe......1 bird along Sudbury Rd.
N. Shrike.........1 adult along Luckenbill Rd.
Says Phoebe.......2 birds along Luckenbill Rd at the Touchet River bridge.
Northern Saw-whet Owl.....1 at Hollebecke HMU
Long-eared Owl................11 birds at Hollebecke HMU
Great Horned Owl.............2 at Hollebecke HMU
Varied Thrush...................1 at Hollebecke HMU
Coopers Hawk...................2 birds at Hollebecke HMU
Sharp-shinned Hawk...........1 bird at Hollebecke HMU
Northern Saw-whet Owl........3 at Fish Hook Park
Long-eared Owl....................2 at the Broetje Home
Golden Eagle........................1 adult along Rice Rd.

NOTE: This was two of the five stops we will make on the WOS Owls by Day Fieldtrip this next weekend.
