Went birding around Skagit Co. today in the cool, showery weather.
Interesting sightings include the following:

Glaucous Gull (juvenile) north of the "West 90" beyond the collapsed barn.
(The Gyr was present a few telephone poles east of the "90")

2 Mountain Chickadees at Washington Park (Anacortes) mixed in with a large
Chestnut-backed Chickadee and kinglet flock. (I also located the sun at
Wash. Park)

~15 swallows circling around the Skagit Game Range headquarters around
dusk. Mostly Barns but at least 2 violet-greens or trees. I couldn't tell
in the fading light.

Also 1 White-throated Sparrow (tan) near the first bridge off the dike
where I have been seeing at least one all winter
