Today at 2:00 along the S Unit at Ridgefield was a Golden Eagle, tucked into a tree along the right hand side of the road. The tree was about 1/2-3/4 mile in just after a sharp curve to the right in the road. Unfortunately, there was no great place to observe the bird except right after the curve.
Also of note was 1 Great Egret seen in a field near where the road takes a final bend back toward the kiosk. Good luck
