Taking advantage of the sunny weather, my husband and I went for a walk in
Magnuson Park around midday. Among the fairly small numbers of waterfowl
we saw on the water was a Clark's Grebe. The orange bill was quite
bright. Several dozen Golden-crowned Sparrows were feeding on the ground
near the swimming area.
