Subject: [Tweeters] another Gyr photo

Hi Mike and Tweeters,

Thanks for sharing your photo. Speaking of Gyr
photo's when I went on the Seattle Audubon trip last
Sat. 2-12 we all got to view a very interesting
interaction between the West 90 Gyr and an immature
Red-tailed Hawk. The hawk landed on the Gyrfalcons
telephone pole. The falcon got very defensive,
hunched down, puffed up his feathers and apparantly
was vocalizing. We were too far away to hear the
sound. The hawk seemed clueless and eventually flew
off. Someone not in our group got very good digital
photo's of this interaction and showed them to some of
us. If the photographer is out there in Tweeterland I
think everyone would enjoy them.
