Subject: [Tweeters] House Finch & Salmonberry

This morning a female House Finch perched briefly on our front deck rail
and plucked the petals off a couple of Salmonberry blossoms. I think this is
only the 2nd time I've seen this behavior In past years Rufous
Hummingbirds and Bushtits have nectared from our Salmonberry hedge and
Robins, Swainson's Thrush, and Hairy Woodpeckers have feasted on the
berries.
