Hello Birders, again,

In relation to the amazing numbers of Goldfinch currently at our
feeders, in "Birds of the Puget Sound Region" by Morse, Aversa and Opperman,
it states that they are "often difficult to find in winter". In Opperman's
"A Birders Guide to Washington" they are listed as uncommon and found in
small numbers from Jan. through March in Western Washington. "Numbers drop
in winter, especially west."

Where are ours coming from?
