Today at 1:30pm there were 5 Monk Parakeets sunning on the cell tower on
Mitchell st. just across
from SKHS. They remained about 10 minutes until 2 crows landed scattering
them toward the
bay. I could not relocate them, and none appeared present on Seattle st.
Yesterday in Bremerton,
a beautiful tatterless Red Admiral emerged from diapause long enough to
brighten my day.
