Tweets - I was down at Marymoor for about 3 hours this afternoon cleaning
out birdhouses. Not surprisingly, I saw a few birds there while I was at
it.

Surprisingly, I saw SIX species not seen yesterday:

Green-winged Teal Pair near 520 in slough
California Quail 3 flushed by a dog SW of mansion
Merlin Flying south over mansion and up slough
Anna's Hummingbird Display flight west of mansion
Belted Kingfisher Male south of weir
TREE SWALLOWS 3 streaked north over East Meadow

This is the second-earliest sighting for swallows I've had at Marymoor,
beaten only by a February 16th sighting from 1996, and it's the earliest
sighting that I was able to determine to species. I have three February
swallow sightings for which positive ID was not possible.

While I am 100% sure that two of the swallows were TREE, the third may have
been Violet-green. They were moving fast!
