Howdy,

In Texas some years back I saw a wintering juvenile (or other
less-than-adult) Krider's red-tailed that could have fit that
description. It was an ivory or cream color with scarce light brown
markings in the usually-brown places; I don't recall the tail marking. I
think there may be an illustration in the Petersen's Hawks guide, which I
can't lay my hands on at the moment.
