Here is some information for those of you who are considering planning
the next two days around searching for rare waterfowl.

I've seen no posts either way on the Phantom Lake Tufted Duck for quite
a while so took a look this morning,. No duck.

Got to the Kent Ponds at 11:00 AM and had the place to myself again
until I ran into tweeter member Paula. Neither of us could find a teal
that didn't have a green wing. We were joined in the south observation
tower by non tweeter Jean who told us that she had been part of large
group that got right out in the refuge to do a bird census. They didn't
record a Baikal Teal. Help us out Paula. Your chance to make a post.
Did Jean say that was early this week?
