Monday morning around 7:45 am the Black Phoebe was perched in small trees around the closed restrooms on the north end of the park at Vancouver Lake. John Gatchet and I left around 9 am and it was still there. I had tried Sunday, but could not find it at different times of the morning. This morning however there was frost and there wasn't frost on Sunday. This may be making the Phoebe hang out around the roof of the restrooms where it was catching insects.

The bird was first noted by its call note and then easily seen once heard.
