I will add to the Raven sightings also. We have lived here in Eatonville
about 23 years. Usually in the winter we would hear a raven quark or two,
but rarely see them. A couple of years ago they started coming by during
the winter, then they were staying around off and on all summer. The crows
used to be very heavy here also when we moved in. So much so that I had to
chase them off a number of times. Never hurting them of course.

This winter we have had Ravens fly over, around and chasing each other like
they are here to stay. This January 1st I saw 12 Ravens fly over my house.
If you were to have asked me how many Ravens we had in our area I would have
told you 2 or 3. But 12? Crows still caw once in a while but only one to
two, not the crowd that used to live here. It will be interesting how many
Ravens will be around all summer.
