Maybe...Bald Eagles are also common on the Oregon coast though. Both
mornings when I was at my place on the Long Beach Peninsula last weekend two
Bald Eagles flew over the house high each morning in purposeful flight
toward the ocean. There were plenty of ducks on the bay, but the eagles
were showing no interest in them. I assume that these are a pair that nest
on Long Island about straight across from my place. Typically they fly
along the bay hunting.
