Hello All,
This morning on our way over to participate in the Tri-Cities CBC MerryLynn and I zipped into Burbank Heights to see if we might add Cattle Egret to our New Years list. There along Lake Rd. just north of a herd of black angus along the west side of the road hunkered down about 25' apart were four very cold, wet Cattle Egrets. This is only the second January record for the species in Walla Walla County. Later on our way home from the CBC we stopped at the "poop piles" and located one adult Thyers Gull in with 400+ gulls. Missed the Iceland Gull discovered yesterday By Bob and Steve. Hope that Iceland sticks its head up tomorrow for the Two Rivers CBC.
Later Mike
