Happy new year to all you birders.

I was driving west on Hwy 2 between Reardon and Davenport about 4:30 pm yesterday. A snowy owl flew across in front of me. It may have been the same bird described earlier by Marian Frobe as it had a fair amount of black on it. I was just east of Bennet road when I saw it, so that is within a few miles of Sunset Hwy.

Hope this year brings all of you some great birds. Started out well for me. :')
