Birded Cape Disappointment STate Park this beautiful day and found at least one MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE in the flock foraging the firs along a beach access road. Directions are: enter Cape Disappointment STate Park, pass the office/toll booth and drive .6 mi. There is a red/white barrier on a small sand road going north. Walk the road and the chickadees are foraging all the firs along that road. Also saw the usual suspects: WINTER WREN, BC CHICKADEES, CS CHICKADEES, GOLDCROWNED SPARROW, HERMIT THRUSH, BUSHTITS, SPOTTED TOWHEE AND FLICKER. At the boat put-in directly east of the park entrance an IMM BALD EAGLE was looking for dinner.
