Hello Tweeters,

I am overwhelmed to the responce of our photos of the Redwing and also keeping the sightings up every day.We are so thankful of all the birders coming from all part of the USA. I birded since 1986 I never seeing such respond from a vagrant as this Redwing. This bird was first spotted on December 20th by Gene Revelas.Since then there been up to 70 birders almost evey day. On Chrismas Day there was 30 birders all day walking in the rain where the Redwing was not sighted. This is proably the rarest bird beside the Northern Hobby and the Eurasian Kestrel and also including the Bean Goose. We thank all the birders to visit our state even so to staying a while longer to seeing this thrush.
So again we really appreciate you being coming to Olympia and a thank you to looking onto our website where we planning to post more photos. http://www.pbase.com/godwit/current/
