These birds apparently plan to spend the winter. The phoebe has been around the refuge maintenance shop along Morgan Lake Road, while the shrike is near the Crab Creek crossing below Marsh Unit 2 another mile+ north. A Prairie Falcon was at the Corfu area 12 miles west of Othello, closer to where Loggerhead Shrikes normally winter at the base of Saddle Mountain.
