Colin Thoreen and I birded up in Skagit County in the snow today. We found 86 species including the following:

American Bittern - 1 at the West 90
Eurasian Wigeon - 3 off Samish Island
Redhead - 2-3 with Canvasback and Ring-necked Ducks on Lake Erie
American Kestrel - 1 on D'arcy Road
Gyrfalcon - 1 at the West 90
Barn Owl - 1 roosting at the West 90
Short-eared Owl - 8+ at the West 90, along with 35+ Northern Harriers
Yellow-rumped Warbler - ~15 at the West 90
White-throated Sparrow - 2 at the Skagit Game Range in a flock of several hundred sparrows that included what appeared to be a leucistic Golden-crowned Sparrow.
Red Crossbill - ~15 in Washington Park
Common Redpoll - 3 at the Game Range

Good birding,
