Inland Birders and Tweeters,
Here is a more complete report on the Oliver-Osoyoos CBC (which
straddles the BC/WA border), prepared by Doug Brown, long-time
observer but first-time compiler of this count, and forwarded from the
BCINTBIRD group.
The Oliver-Osoyoos CBC was the only one in the BC Interior this year
to exceed 100 species-- a feat that has been accomplished there
several times before.
Are there any counts east of the Cascades in WA which regularly, or
even rarely, exceed 100 species?
