My January 4th posting about the sighting of Bohemian Waxwings in Discovery
Park was half-baked. The leaders I thought had spotted the birds and should
have posted the sighting hadn't seen them at all. (The group that saw the
waxwings took photos that showed they were Bohemians.) I wouldn't have
blamed the leaders in Discovery Park if I had stopped to think that the
sheer number of people involved in a big-city CBC tends to blur the lines of
responsibility about who should post unusual sightings. I'll try to get it
right next time.
