First, a big thank you to the folks who reported the
redheads. I went down there today and the sun broke
out just as in time for me to get an excellent look at
six male redheads -- a life lister for me. Beautiful
coloration those guys.

Second, I want to recommend to anyone who is
interested in getting a more thorough knowledge of
Portage Bay that you make a trip over to Montlake
Playfield. There are some good viewpoints of the cove
by the marina over there. You can walk there from UW
by going over Montlake bridge and then taking the
pedestrian path under the freeway.
