Hello, Just a word from a local guy who has seen the Redwing on most of its
days here in Olympia. If I only went by the posts that have been posted on
Tweeters, I might wonder if the bird had been hounded because of its
frequent jumps from here to there. In all my hours of viewing the bird, it
has never been flushed by those who have come in search of it. Actually, it
has on many occasions flown into and landed in a tree adjacent to those who
seek it. So far the reaction by the neighborhood has been magnificent, let's
strive to keep it that way.
