The Baikal Teal was sited at the Kent ponds this morning at 10am and was
watched until 1:30pm. Ted Robinson and Greg Bretz of Florida located the
bird this morning after searching 6 hours yesterday. The bird was also seen
by Tim and Fritz Steuer, Cynthia Faubion of Seattle plus two others.

The bird was out in the open actively preening together with green teals.
>From atop of the south east observation tower look out northeast across the
closest pond to the far shore. The duck was close to shore between the
patch of red twigged dogwood(?) and the yellow patch of cattails,
occasionally going into the grass to the left of the cattails.

Good luck finding the beautiful bird!
