Troy Guy just called. This morning while doing a seawatch
from North Head Lighthouse, Pacific Couty, WA, he reports a
first-winter RED-LEGGED KITTIWAKE flew by just before 09:00.

He first thought it was a 1st winter Sabine's Gull, realized
that, while it had big white triangles, the mantle and wing
coverts were uniformly gray and and only the primary tips were
black.

He will be writing the observation up for the appropriate
review committees.
