Hi all -
I sent a note a while back asking why Apple Mail was downloading
messages a second and third time from a second private server I have an
account with (not doing it with PCNET). The IT person says that my
"client" (does that mean Apple Mail?) would not be able to remove
messages from their server, even if set do so, but that it should know
it has already downloaded those messages, and not do it again. Does
this make any sense? Is there another preference somewhere I should be
changing? Both accounts are now set to remove messages from the server
one week after downloading, and this is working on PCNET but not the
other.
