Hi Tweets,

Today I spent a few hours surveying the dwindling duck numbers on Moses
Lake and Potholes Reservoir.
At Neppel Landing Park on Moses Lake I was able to locate a single male
EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL and an American x Eurasian intergrade. Most other
common species were also present, including good numbers of displaying
Hooded Mergansers. At North Parker Horn (across the street from Neppel
Landing Park to the north) were many Cackling and Canada Geese, a single
Greater Yellowlegs, and 3 Least Sandpipers.
Duck numbers on Potholes Reservoir are almost non-existent, but one
LONG-TAILED DUCK at Perch Point amongst a good number of coots and Lesser
Scaup made the trip worthwhile.

Cheers
