actually, while i have your attention, i was wondering if someone could let
me know (off-list is fine) about the numbers of red-necked grebes one might
find in elliott bay... while at seacrest park a few days ago, i spotted
what i believed were at least three probable juveniles wandering / fishing
off the piers with red-breasted mergansers and a pretty nice number of
barrow's goldeneyes...
