Just a note of heartfelt thanks primarily to Patrick
Sullivan and his mother Ruth, for the long hours of
hosting and assisting that they have put in all over
the neighborhood the Redwing is currently calling its
local winter territory. You and many other birders
with walkie-talkies helped many of us out-of-towners
jump in and join the block-by-block chase. It was a
lot of fun. I was there 3 times and saw the bird on my
last two visits.

Thanks also to all the patient folks living in the
neighborhood who tolerated the small invasion of
birdbrains in pursuit of one small visitor from afar.
