I've decided if there is such a thing as reincarnation, I would not like to
come back as a Red-tailed Hawk. Recently we've had one making a brief daily
appearance, and we always know when it is near. Every crow within a 15 mile
radius comes-a-screaming at it kamikaze-like, and they don't let up. Red-tailed
hawks live their lives without a moment's peace, and so if I have any say in the
matter, I'd choose something else. (Maybe a Bald Eagle. I'd still be harassed
by crows, but at least I'd be at the top of the food chain. )

Having said that, maybe that hawk is looking down at me with my three
children yakking at me constantly, and he's thinking, "They don't give her a moment's
peace! If there is such a thing . . . please don't let me be her!"
