Where is Lake Youngs?

The thrushes are probably eating bugs in the grass. (You must be on the west side, as the bugs on the east side are mighty cold.)

For the past 2 days we have had a flock of 12 or more Varied Thrush in our yard and along the road foraging in the grass and in the gravel. It is really cool to see so many at one time. They just dip their beaks in the grass quickly. What exactly would they be eating? They are so timid, the minute
