Hello Tweets - This year marked the 25th anniversary for the Kent-Auburn
CBC (sponsored by Rainier Audubon Society)and total species seen was also
the highest (126) with two new species to the count - a Blue-winged Teal
and a Yellow-headed Blackbird, both found in the Valley. For the second
year we observed Barn Swallows (6)this time over Star Lake in Federal Way.
Hawks were numerous and included two Rough-legged Hawks, a Harlan's Hawk,
and a No. Goshawk.
