Hi,

Has anyone else spotted the odd tan pair of ducks hanging out with some Mallards and Wigeons right at the entrance to the Cut? They were right by the Hatchery area, and I don't know if they are a weird crossbreed, some kinda domestic I have never seen or what.

They are tan, a couple of different shades, but mostly a pretty light color. Size about the same as the other ducks they are hanging out with. A few darker, brownish feathers along the upper back, and looks like possibly a wing-patch, but it was partially obscured. Bill is mottled green/orangish. They also had a speckled crown stripe, similar in shape to the Wigeon crown stripe, but not the same color. These are not the Eurasian Wigeon either, because I have observed those a couple of times. Any ideas?
