Hello all:
This morning the Baikal Teal was well observed by many birders from the
southernmost viewing tower at the Kent Ponds. It spent most of its time
sleeping up against the willows in the teal flock, but woke up periodically
to take a sip of water or to swim around a few feet in clear view.
Other birds at the ponds today were a Common (Eurasian Green-winged) Teal
and two intergrade teal, the male "Brewer's Duck," at least 4 Eurasian
Wigeon, a Short-eared Owl, three harriers, two Peregrines, and more.

Cheers
