I would just like to say that I invite, even request, a critique of my
identifications. This is the only way we'll learn anything. I contacted
Dan Gibson a couple of weeks ago for some additional information but am
still awaiting his reply.

Regarding the Harrison Hot Springs bunting being identified as a male, the
University of Puget Sound Land-bird Photos page reports that the bunting,
referred to as a "hybrid bunting," was "presumably an immature male."
