Jo Ann and Tweeters,

Most Washingtonians probably know this, but the best source of
information on highway conditions on the Internet is the WSDOT
(Washington State Department of Transportation) website. The URL for
the page on highway closures and alerts is:

http://wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/trafficalerts/

I presume this covers Interstate, Federal, and State highways, but not
county roads or other local roads. For example, when in I was in
Skagit County today, I heard radio reports of several local roads
which were flooded. It would not be possible to cover all these on
the WSDOT webpage.

At any rate, I hope this helps!
