Well I managed to send that last message about Skagit area road conditions
without actually pasting in the content of the message. I guess the moisture
has soaked into my brain. Here?s the info Gary Bletsch had sent me.

Dear Jim,
The last I know of, there aren't any road closures
there. However, with a pineapple express expected to
show up on Friday night, we might see Skagit River
flooding, with Fir Island being one of the usual spots
for road closures.
