With only a little time today I stopped to scope the flocks of ducks at
Neppel Landing Park in downtown Moses Lake. The EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL
persists at this location. The best location to view the teal flock is from
the dead-end of Dogwood St to the west of Broadway Ave.
Also of note were 23 Wood Ducks which must have come in with the Chinook
winds.
The weather was extremely foggy and I did not locate any Snowy Owls today,
primarily due to the weather. I did see a nice Prairie Falcon perched on a
power pole in the vicinity of the Snowy Owls (K SE) so all was not lost.
