"The BLUE JAY was seen by several birders yesterday afternoon on 3rd
street,
a block from D st. The bird flew around the area and was quite vocal."

Yea, it was probably asking if someone could please explain how the heck it, a Blue Jay, ended up in Port Hadlock! "How did I get here? Can someone please tell me how to get at last another 1000 miles east, quickly?" Then again, maybe it was just bragging to all that could hear that it was glad it was missing out on the big storms in the Midwest and Northeast. Having just moved back from Philadelphia in September, I know I am glad I ain't there now! They can keep that weather, I'll take western Washington anytime!
