Earlier today, there was a large group of gulls on the west end of Wenzel Slough Rd. near its intersection with Keys Road. The recent flooding has left lots of standing water in the fields of the valley. I scoped out the gulls and found seven different species. I picked out one immature Glacous Gull out of the group. Also present were Mew, Ring-billed, California, Thayer's, Herring, and Glacous-winged. Not a bad day for gulls!
