I was delighted to see a small flock of 4 bluebirds
yesterday (Sunday the 1/23/05) in Roy, Washington.
One pair kept coming back an perching on and around a
birdhouse I set up on a fence post last spring, hoping
to attract them. The house successfully fledged two
broods last season - I look forward to another
wonderful bluebird season! I'm guessing the at least
some of the birds I saw yesterday were last year's
babies. Anyone know about nest-site tenacity in
bluebirds? Thanks!
