Hi Tweets,

He's baaack! The partial-albino RED-WINGED BLACKBIRD was at JBP this
morning, staking out and defending the same territory as the last 2 years.
This is the 4th year that he has been at the park. Margaret Saint Clair
emailed me and said she had seen a possible 2nd albinistic RWBL, and might
have a picture for comparisons.

Also this morning, heard several singing RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS, and saw a
female ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD collecting cattail fuzz. This balmy weather
certainly makes everyone think it's Spring.

This afternoon I stopped by the Kent Ponds hoping for a better look at the
Baikal Teal. No such luck. Ran into Penny Koyama, who'd been there for a
couple of hours, and said it hadn't been seen. Consolation sightings
though, were of an AMERICAN BITTERN and a RIVER OTTER.both always fun to
see. Two birders from California and Virginia were there who had been
trying to find both the teal and the Olympia Redwing for the last 3 days and
had no success with either.
