Hello Tweets,
As we already know that the Redwing was last sighted on Friday the 21st at 8.45 Am.Since that day I found out that the Redwing was seen by two birders who know each other and birded together 20 years ago in Kentucky. Both birders give me a good description about the bird and the tip from a friendly neighborhood walker (not a birder).
She told us the Redwing was seen early in the morning over on Percival between 6th and 7th, and that it had worked it's way north as the morning progressed .both birders followed a small flock of Robin's of 6 to 7 birds there ended up in an ally between 5th and 6th of Sherman. There watched the bird on the ground and preening in an large Maple tree. The Redwing flew of in direction East what would be Capital Lake area..This is the official last sighting by two birders.

I been thinking about this sighting and since the Redwing don't go with the large groups of Robin's,there is a slight chance that he went in to a different neighborhood. We kind of searched on Sunday on to the other side from the Capital and had three small groups of Robin,s around 15 birds in each group,it would be interesting this to further searching the area more out.A desperate attempt not to give in that the Redwing really left for good.
