Are the so-called Pacific NW "permanent resident" Anna's non-migratory, or do they summer and winter at northern and southern extremes of a very small range? From my brief observation, it appears that our wintering Anna's are different than those lingering here in summer when the Rufous have returned. But I have no banding evidence to confirm this.
