Say, does any of you know the history/data of cormorants in this area? ?I moved to the Seattle area in 1996 and therefore could not answer a burning question. ?In my office (law firm in Seattle) one of the attorneys mentioned that he lived on South Lake Union in a houseboat for about 20 years (about 10 years ago). ?And during that time, he hardly noticed any cormorants. Now, he sees them everywhere. ?I can understand this because there are loads of them in trees above the slough in Kenmore and out on the pilings at Log Boom Park. ?Any comments?
