I have just replied to Doug in Kirkland re: hummingbirds in winter. I
live in west Tacoma and have had a female Anna's in my area all winter.
What a joy to see her at the tiny feeder right outside my front window.
I've read a lot about the Anna's and found it is more and more common for
them to winter here. For whatever reason, I'm thankful.
