I spent the morning and part of this afternoon cruising Northern Grant
County. The best birds of the day were all gulls located at the log booms at
Coulee Playland in Electric City. There were two 1st winter GLAUCOUS GULLS,
two 1st winter and one adult THAYER'S GULL, and a 2nd winter GLAUCOUS-WINGED
GULL. In addition there were many Herring Gulls, several California Gull,
and several Ring-billed Gull.
I was also able to locate two White-breasted Nuthatches and four Red
Crossbills in Northrup Canyon.
